This Privacy Policy explains how Woofly handles account, household, dog profile, care, media, and app-use information when you use the iPhone app or related web surfaces.
Information We Handle
Woofly may process parent account details (name, email, optional phone), authentication identifiers, household membership and partner codes, dog profiles (including breed, birthdate, weight, gender), care logs, appointments, health notes, documents, photos, widget images, AI chat or guide context, device push tokens, permission-related device capabilities you grant (such as camera, microphone, photos, or location when used for weather or capture features), and app diagnostics needed to provide the service.
How It Is Used
We use this information to sync household care data, show care tools, provide AI-supported educational responses, deliver widget or notification updates, calculate educational portion estimates, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Service Providers
Woofly may rely on Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, App Check), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, push notifications, on-device speech features where used), Google sign-in, AI infrastructure providers used for educational guide/chat features, and hosting for these legal pages. Those providers process data only as needed to operate the Woofly surfaces you use.
Retention, Access, And Deletion
Care records remain associated with your household profile until deleted, replaced, or no longer needed for the app feature. You can request help accessing, correcting, or deleting account data by emailing us. Some records may persist in backups for a limited period for security and integrity.
Children And Household Use
Woofly is intended for adult caregivers who manage dog care. Parent or guardian accounts should control household access. Do not knowingly create accounts for children under the age required by local law without appropriate parental involvement.
International Processing
Depending on where you live and which providers process the data, information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using Woofly, you understand that your data may be transferred as needed to provide the service.
